Image Generation

Superpower to Gain

With Image Generation, you’ll be able to give visual life to your ideas in seconds.

Target Output

The goal for this module is to familiarize yourself with DALL-E and refine your ability to write prompts for the service. The output you should end with is a graphical icon for the solution you brainstormed in the previous module.

Steps to Take

Click below to sign into DALL-E. Then browse through the examples that are presented and try a prompt for yourself.

DALL·E 2
Copy your solution description from the previous module and paste it into the DALL-E prompt bar. Add “app icon for” or the equivalent before the description. Then click “Generate”
Work on making your prompt more descriptive and less conceptual, including describing the colors that you want and by defining what we don’t want – like “no text”
Add “analogous” inputs to your prompt, including at least one style reference like “in the style of Nike”
Continue to experiment and iterate until you have a workable result. Then download the image that was created.
